Military Matters BlogSpc. Brushaun Anderson11/4/10 The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. Spc. Brushaun X. Anderson, 20, of Columbus, GA., died Jan. 1 in Baghdad, Iraq, of wounds suffered when he was attacked by an unknown assailant. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 14th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), Fort Drum, N.Y. The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation. |
